Nord Stage 4 88 The keybed (A-CJ) is fully weighted, the aftertouch is capacitive, and the drawbars are mechanical and lit by LEDs. A NEW EXPERIENCE The new LED faders for each Layer on the Nord Stage 4's redesigned panel give you a bird's-eye view of your entire sound design and give you a lot of leeway when you're performing. For easy and efficient patch creation, try out the new Preset Library, which includes hundreds of inspiring, pre-made piano, synth, and organ presets. A simple click of a button will take you from one audio configuration to another in the Layer Scene. The Nord Stage 4 takes musical expression to a new level with the addition of a potent new Effect section, a variety of pedal options, and a premium Triple Sensor keybed. PIANO SECTION With new features like Dynamic compression and Unison, the Nord Stage 4 offers an improved selection of Grands, Uprights, and Electric Pianos from Nord’s proprietary Nord Piano Library. SYNTH SECTION The Synth section is based on the powerful Nord Wave 2 Synth Engine, which includes Virtual Analog synthesis, Samples, FM, and Digital Waves. It also has three separate Layers for maximum flexibility. A huge new collection of samples has been added to the Nord Sample Library. This collection features a wide variety of sounds, including guitars, basses, choirs, and much more. The innovative Arpeggiator has been updated with additional Polyphonic, Gate, and Pattern modes, and it is applicable to a wide range of rhythmic applications thanks to its pattern customization capabilities. ORGAN SECTION The Organ area includes two different Pipe Organ models in addition to Nord’s multi-award winning simulations of the 83 Tonewheel and 83 Bass organs, as well as the legendary Vax and Farfisa.
