HEADHUNTERS ORB X 35B-35MM BLACK FELT MALLETS Orb-X-35B Orb-X are percussion mallets for drummers. Drummers destroy tympani mallets on cymbals! Felt mallets are often too hard and heavy, making it difficult to articulate intricate patterns. An Orb-X mallet head weight less than a half gram, they come in 4 diameter sizes. 25 mm, 35 mm, 40 mm and 45mm. The smaller sizes compress more and have a softer sound. The larger sizes compress less and have more contact sound. They all sound great on drum set, congas and bongos. These are great for Orff instruments as well. Because they are so light weight, drummers can play rhythmic patterns on cymbals that were not practical with tympani mallets. The Orb-X35B has a 35 milimeter black mallet head on a black maple drum stick.
