Just like the Radial JDI, which has become industry standard, the Duplex incorporates two Jensen audio transformers as well as a crystal-clear audio signal path. With so many incredible features built into the Direct Box, it is no wonder it handles with virtually no phase shift or harmonic distortion. The natural transformer saturation, and the resulting warm Bessel curve, mean that the Duplex is the optimum choice in live performance events. The Radial Duplex has impeccable control over smoothing out the harsh extremes for dynamic instruments such as digital pianos or electronic drums. With the isolation of the Transformer, any annoying ground loops that may cause hum and buzz or interfere with video displays are eliminated. The Radial Duplex is equipped to handle any situation you may have in mind for it. The Direct Box employs the use of ¼' connectors for instruments, RCA connectors for unbalanced -10dB consumer electronics and XLR inputs for +4dB professional line sources. The unit itself has been designed with book-ends to protect all connectors and switches at each end.
