This difference in tuning creates the characteristic tremolo sound – two notes wavering in unison together. This instrument is suited to the performance of folk music in a range of styles from around the world. With its complete scale tuning over three octaves, it is possible to play beautiful melodies in pop, folk, country and many old-time favourites. This instrument has the unusual configuration of having ten blow notes and eleven draw notes. The minor key tuning lends itself well to East European, Asiatic, Gypsy, Tango and traditional Japanese music.
