This pickup gives you extended frequency range and that Music Man midrange in one motion. You get the power and punch of our modern ceramic pickup, and the surgical precision of our Music Man preamp and EQ. This pickup and preamp combination will give your bass a ton of versatility and improve the overall feel and responsiveness of your instrument.

This Music Man pickup and preamp system is available in 4 and 5-string configurations. The 4-string version is a drop-in replacement for Music Man Stingray basses with 3-knobs, and the 5-string version is a drop-in replacement for Music Man Stingray basses with 4-knobs. These pickups may fit into OLP instruments as well but check the dimensions of our pickups (on this site) against the size of your OLPs pickup slot to be sure.

NOTE: not for use with Music Man basses that have a 3-way blade switch.

Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, our ceramic Music Man replacement pickups use two large ceramic bar magnets, Forbon flatwork, 4-conductor lead-wire, and are vacuum wax potted for squeal free operation.
